I’m having a blowout on self care day 2!

A blowout can make you feel like a new person.
I never get a view from behind. I love seeing my hair longer.

For Day 2 of self-care week, I had an appointment at my local salon with my stylist, Karla. I just wanted a blowout on the day before we would. get together with family on Christmas Eve. The wash is always enjoyable as I don’t have to lift my shoulders up in the showed to wash my hair or deal with kinked up, bent up fingers who just don’t have the energy to do the job. No one really sees the little invisible struggles I deal with having MS. I just deal and am thankful to push forward another day. I just have Amazon bring things to my door and professionals provide me with valuable services that are too difficult for me.

I not only got an amazing blowout, but got to take photos of hair products she was using that I could buy for myself. Sometimes when I blow-dry my hair the ends are just flat and dead looking. I needed a little help with the maintenance, and now Moroccan Oil is on the list. I never felt such a light oil, not heavy like the ones I’ve used before and hoped to not go back to. It was a Moroccan Oil Hairspray and Olaplex Bonding Oil No.7.

I put them in my Amazon Cart and they’ll arrive after Christmas. I am grateful that I was able to drop my son off at school at 9, take my mom home and then heads back to my gym, Planet Fitness, not for more workout but for 10 minutes in the hydromassager. What made it even more sweet was that I bounded in from the cold as I do every day and the guy at the front desk says “The warrior’s back.” and signed me up for my favorite Bed #2 hydromassage bed, my favorite as it has a left leg entry and I can lift my weak right leg up with my arms. Life is good. I got a blowout and a massage. I could get used to taking better care of myself.
