

For the past few weeks I’ve made my home here in this cozy, quiet little northeast corner of my home with vinyl lettering on my wall to motivate me to keep good habits like waking up early, meditating and then eating my pre workout meal.
The meal has been consisting of two high fiber complex carb crackers spread with a tablespoon of sun butter. I also make a green tea with. Town rise and matcha powder (Gren Maichs). It has really been fueling my workouts that lasts through my two hours at the gym every morning.
I have been sitting first to do my morning meditation on Insight Timer and I started up the meditation, turned on my dining room light with the Alexa app so I wouldn’t have to go across the room on crutches and turn it on. My lighting was fixed eith smart switches throughout my house.
I just couldn’t concentrate on the meditation and I couldn’t resist a bite. My stomach was growling and interrupting it.
So I turned it off and am writing about it instead. I listen to my body at the gym when sugar has enough. Now I’ll do the same to my morning meditation practice too. It IS a workout for the mind!
Because I chose to eat and take me time to write about it, I did something I had not done. R fort. I looked for a Reese meditation, and was served a two minute meditation for morning gratitude. It was so beautiful, brief and sweet, that I would love to do it again. I meditate a couple of times later in the day anyway, so this just serve to get my head on straight to go out there in the world. For that I am grateful. Now I will drink my tea. I am grateful that I listen to my body for this time.
