My Life’s Biggest Self Project Ever Now Completed

Vickie Siculiano Documentary

I always wanted to have my own story documented.  Being the mom of a seven year old with less and less time to devote to my own projects, it seemed like it was moving further and further from my reach. That was until I reached out on Fiverr for someone to help me create it.

I had to think back to the very beginning by decade and see what happened through the years and how I actually got there.  I think one of the most surprising things to me was trying to remember when I wore an ankle foot orthotic (AFO) and when I switched to Walkaide.  My Walkaide is an EFA, or Electronic Functional Stimulator that fires an electrical impulse to my shin and foot, raising it. This way I don’t trip over my dragging toes and foot. For this documentary I had to go back to the time when I couldn’t wear it when I was pregnant, as the electrical currents are contraindicated for pregnancy.

I went through important things in my life like starting to love music at an early age and playing instruments.  Because I had this in me it was not surprising how I became a singer. And not surrprising how my favorite audiences were my senior ones, because of my close connection with my grandparents. Not surprising how I had a back injury and overcame it with weight loss and exercise. Then i had to create exercise programs and empower others. I learned alot by connecting it all together.

Before I created this documentary, and narrating every part of it, I used to think I was flighty and just stuck with the flavor of the day until something else peaked my interest.  Now I see I was just following my passions and always empowering others.Whether it was empowering people through exercise or letting them relive long forgotten memories and youth, I would create moments of joy with a live band or karaoke tracks.  Looking at this video now in my face. I’m pretty proud of the life I’ve created and the independent. determined mom I’ve become.  I hope Sean looks back at me and said the same about me someday. And even you, too. Let me know what you think ini the comments section below. I look forward to hearing from you!
