How I Get My Day Started with Gratitude

Hi, Vickie here.  One of the most important things that I do to get my day started right is to get my head on straight in the morning.  First thing is I get up pretty early in the morning, 3 A.M, and that’s not something that many people could say they do.  But I just have a chance to have some ‘me’ time at the gym which is at 5am.

So 3 A.M to 5 – what am I doing for those two hours?  Well I created this little nook in my house which is a ‘me’ space.  And I have my little meditation corner here and I got my pen and paper ready to start writing.  And I also have my special rocks that I make.  I make gratitude rocks is one of my most special ones.

I always have to start off your day with gratitude and meditation for me comes with the insight timer app.  And I would certainly show you that app but it’s on the iPhone that I’m recording with.

So I’ve got my iPhone ready right in the morning first thing gratitude starting my day with the insight timer and I have these little prayers that I you know just listened to.  You know think  of all of the things that I’m grateful for because when you have MS like I do,

it can be pretty challenging. And it’s pretty unpredictable and can’t say that every day is the same but hey a lot of people have the same thing to say so I just need to make sure that I manage myself and especially my time.  And have to plan my day out and one of the ways that I do is I start here with my pen and paper and I make my lists of all of the things that I have to do and did I get started that way.
