The Future of My Online Presence: Balancing Podcasts, Blogs, and YouTube

  1. Reflection on Podcasting and Blogging

It’s been a while since I blogged. I feel like I missed the boat because I was spending so much time on my podcast. Wow, it’s been a long time since I even thought about my older podcast endeavors like the Smarter Online Marketing Podcast.

  1. Life’s Changes

I recall the selfie I took with my son as a baby on my chest. He was fresh into his eighth year when I restarted podcasting. Now, with my MS being more advanced than before, I strive to use my time effectively. I always push myself, asking, “Unless I try, how will I ever know?”

  1. Achievements and New Directions

What’s different now? I achieved some significant goals from my vision board. I started a podcast and began my journey towards becoming an Amazon bestseller. Surprisingly, I ventured into creating low content books. With my son’s help, we’re now making coloring books.

  1. Technology and Adapting

As much as I sometimes wish to do more physical activities with my son, I see him engrossed in his iPad. Instead of resisting this tech-driven change, I’ve embraced it, aiming to raise him as a tech-savvy individual.

  1. Podcasting Challenges

I’ve decided to take down my podcasts. Using Riverside FM was an ambitious goal. While the allure of speaking to a camera and podcasting was great, there wasn’t much return on the effort. Unlike videos or podcasts, blogging offers me a tangible record.

  1. Utilizing Voice Dictation and ChatGPT

Voice dictation has revolutionized my blogging. Using Google Docs offline has made the process seamless. And with tools like ChatGPT, it feels like I have an assistant by my side, streamlining my work without altering my voice.

  1. Behind the Scenes of Podcasting

Podcasting wasn’t just about hitting “record.” From ideation to execution, there was a lot happening behind the scenes. From formulating ideas to ensuring everything was just right, it was a demanding process.

  1. Looking Ahead

While I might return to podcasting, my focus is shifting. I’ve contemplated uploading my podcast episodes to YouTube. However, there are technical challenges, especially as I transition from a PC to an iMac Pro.

  1. Gratitude and Looking Forward

I’m proud of restarting my podcast and taking steps towards becoming an Amazon bestseller. All I ask is for your patience as I navigate this transition. I promise to keep the website experience seamless for you. Thanks for being part of my journey. Have an awesome day.
