Gratitude in the Florida Keys on a Motorized Scooter

Speaking of gratitude, today I am very grateful that I am recording this blog while riding on my rented motorized scooter down the path at the resort where I am in the Florida Keys recording this blog post. Later I will take the audio and transcribe it with the button in the voice recorder app.
I used to have to pay for transcription a dollar a minute that was crazy expensive. I’ve been doing this little trip down to the gym For the past few days and it is amazing dignity that I see on the way to the gym I might go to the gym in the morning at home planet fitness, it’s blackout, save for a few cars that are up pretty early and headed your way with their lights shining at you. There’s really no way to see any beauty in the path that you travel, especially Valley Road.
Yesterday there was a palm tree on my path that I had a coconut below it. It was only when I looked above it and I realized it was a cluster of under ripened coconuts waiting for their pool. It was a beautiful site and I picked up the coconut, and water spewed out of it.

I don’t think I would ever find coconuts on Valley Road. But I’m pretty sure they were quite interesting things to see. Maybe I will take my scooter out of the garage just drive around the neighborhood, if my mom doesn’t yell at me for taking my scooter out on the road. I think it’s safe and as long as I’m on the side of the road I don’t see what’s going to happen. People ride their bikes all the time so what’s the difference.
I think it’s just amazing that you can take a little time to be mindful and enjoy the beauty around you rather than say oh I’m going to be late for this or that, I’m going to miss gym open 5 AM.
Considering the 13 virtues I have been working on, I am up to mindfulness, and I haven’t looked at my list to see what is my six virtue. But I’m still happily working on mindfulness and there’s no rush to get off of it but I’m pretty much enjoying it I’m just going to slow down and enjoy the ride. I use the insight timer app and I usually switch between mindfulness experts, on different subjects, mainly gratitude, intention, manifestation. And I have a folder that I called my morning routine and I just rolled up whatever I want to listen. This morning was a mindfulness gratitude meditation that was five minutes. I chose it because I had the time before I come to the gym where I’m at now. It’s still before open, but I’m going to see if I can go a little early because last time there was somebody that was there late started work and they just let me in. So I’m going to see. But this is a beautiful site to look at I’m very grateful. Not many days or ever actually that I’ve seen a coconut lying on the road!
