Moms Club Holiday Party 2022 was a Blast!

I was happy to be back together, since Covid shut things down, more or less, and I look forward to getting together with these ladies again soon! 

Once a year, just the moms get together for a holiday party from the Moms Club in my town, without the kiddies.

It’s great to get to connect with other moms, some of whom have children who go to school with each other.

Last night, donning, my Hanukkah-inspired socks and red top in honor of Christmas, (since we have two religions in the household), I got to share company with other moms like myself to talk about life in general. We just caught up with each other, our children’s affairs not dominating the conversation.

A member of the group who had just completed home renovations less than 24 hours before, graciously opened her doors to us for the party. It is a spectacular home.

all of us brought something for the party, and I chose to bring crudites and hummus. because I would go to the gym early in the morning as always, I decided not to drink or load up on food that my stomach would not digest later in the day. Doing that worked out well for me, and I was there at 7 AM today.

Elfster paired us with another mom who we could exchange a gift with.  I happened to be paired with the hostess. She listed on her wish list, some marshmallows, stuffed with various things like cookies and cream and Nutella. Because time was of the essence, and it could not be shipped to me in time, I went to our local grocery store and bought an assortment of goodies, perfect for a sweet tooth like big campfire, marshmallows, Starbucks, hot chocolate, a big Ferrero Rocher, chocolate ball, Limited addition, Pepperidge, farm, goldfish, s’mores, and vanilla, cupcake goldfish, and dark chocolate Hanukkah gelt. When she opened her gift, she exclaimed that she was hiding this from her daughters right away. I was so happy that my intuition worked.

I was happy to be back together with these amazing mamas since COVID pretty much put a hold on things, more or less. I look forward to getting together for more fun with these ladies again soon!
