Motivation, Connection & The Power of Showing Up

Motivational Rocks have a story of healing..

Something really cool happened as my monthly women’s group breakfast at Panera got closer. Something woke up inside me—a spark of creativity and gratitude that made me stop and think.

I put together this amazing group of women, and let me tell you, that’s no small feat. Sure, we all go to the same gym, but our schedules? All over the place. Getting most of us in the same room at the same time? That’s a win. But here’s the thing—life happens.

Two of our “founding” members couldn’t make it. One got into an accident just days before, leaving her without a car for now. Thankfully, she’s okay and just needs to rest. Another had to miss it because her father-in-law passed away the morning of our event. Heartbreaking. But at least he was at peace.

And yet, even though not everyone could be there, I realized something: this group is bigger than a single breakfast.

We’re connected. We lift each other up. We check in. We adjust plans when we need to—like when one of the women asked if she could bring her son since he’d be with her that weekend. No problem. My son was coming too, and they’re just a year apart. It worked out.

Why This Matters

Because motivation rocks. And so does showing up. It’s not about perfect attendance. It’s about building something real. It’s about creating a space where women support each other, no matter what life throws our way.

Whether it’s in person, through text, or just knowing you have a group of badass, positive women in your corner—that’s what matters.

And that’s something worth celebrating.
