Behind the Scenes: Building My MS Warrior Brand (Days 1–3)

Grit. Not giving up — even when it’s easier to stay still.

How I’m creating a mission-driven Etsy shop, one empowered step at a time.

Let me be real.

Starting this brand isn’t just about T-shirts — it’s about building something bigger than me. I’m an MS warrior, a creator, and someone who’s done playing small. I’m building something that helps people like me feel seen. And I’m documenting it as I go.

Here’s what I’ve accomplished so far in just the first three days:

Day 1 – Foundation Mode

Watched my 6-figure storefront course and actually took action Realized I needed control over my pricing and shipping Deleted my old listings and started rebuilding using Monster Digital (for fixed costs) Set up a visual whiteboard in Canva to track layouts, fonts, and shirt inspiration Decided to stop wasting energy making mockups from scratch — I’m using professional templates from now on Reconnected to my mission: to create apparel that speaks to MS warriors and chronic illness fighters like me

Day 2 – Cleaning House

Created a fixed-price shipping profile on Etsy to protect my profit Bought a high-quality Gildan 64000 mockup bundle from Etsy Wrote to the seller requesting an orange mockup (for MS awareness) Started organizing my design ideas using Canva — broke down elements I liked from other shirts (like racing stripes, lightning bolts, and more) Realized I don’t need tools like Figma or Excel — Canva fits how I think and create Honored my energy: took a break, regrouped, and reminded myself that building this with MS means pacing matters

Day 3 – Dialing It In

Reassessed my original shirt layout and committed to refining the template before batch-creating Made a plan to create one clean Canva design template that I can use for all my one-liner shirt slogans Created a product information card and a story card (featuring my face and message) to add heart and credibility to my listings Learned what biang biang noodles are (and yes, it was relevant — food = fuel) Built a dinner plan that served my whole family — tea eggs, vegetarian noodles, and spicy pork for my husband Recommitted to tracking progress day-by-day — because this story matters, and I want others to see what’s possible

Why I’m Sharing This:

Because you don’t have to do it all at once.

Because building something meaningful with a chronic illness looks different — and that’s okay.

Because I want you to see what’s really behind the scenes of a shop built with purpose.

This is just the beginning — and I’m just getting started.
