Exploring New Pages: A Fun Coloring Adventure

Sometimes, it’s fun to step outside your comfort zone, and that’s exactly what I did with a page from the Coco Wyo Little Corner Coloring Book. This book is such a gem—small and cozy, about 5×5 inches, and packed with whimsical scenes. The page I tackled was a two-page spread featuring two adorable little characters, a dog and a bear, working out. One was on a bike, the other was lifting weights, with jump ropes and dumbbells scattered in the background. Since I was gearing up for a gym session myself, this theme felt like the perfect match to get me in the right mindset!
Normally, I gravitate towards patterns, but this page was a nice change of pace. I kept things simple with a soft pastel palette and my brand-new markers (which I’ll link below!). It was refreshing to step away from intricate designs and just have fun. The smaller size of the book made it feel less overwhelming, too—perfect for a quick creative escape.
I focused on sticking to a set color palette to keep the process stress-free. No rummaging through my entire collection of pens this time! Just a handful of bright and cheerful markers that made the scene pop. Coloring this page wasn’t about perfection; it was about experimenting, enjoying the process, and trying something new.
If you’re looking for a coloring book that’s lighthearted and fun, I highly recommend this one. And those pastel markers? They’re officially a favorite!
