Contemplating a New Move: From Crutches to a Motorized Wheelchair

Instapot Epic balsamic vinegar chicken made me realize.

Hey folks,

I’m at a crossroads, thinking about making a switch from my trusty crutches to something new – a motorized wheelchair. This isn’t just a whim; it’s a move I’m seriously considering for both my kitchen shenanigans and just getting around my place more easily.

Cooking is my zone. But here’s the deal – managing crutches in the kitchen, while trying not to slip on the hardwood floor, is like a circus act. I want to cook, carry stuff, and not play soccer with items down the hallway. Plus, my hands are pretty much tied up (literally) with crutches.

So, the game-changer I’m eyeing? A sleek, motorized wheelchair. We’re talking compact, easy to maneuver, and perfect for tight spots – a huge upgrade from the bulky scooter I use for my outdoor adventures. This could be my ticket to zipping from one end of the house to the other, upstairs where I live, carrying things in my lap instead of, well, kicking them down the hall.

I’m not there yet, but the thought of wheeling around hands-free, whipping up meals without fear of falling, and just being more efficient is pretty exciting. It’s about being the same go-getter I am at the gym, but in my own home.

I’m still mulling it over, but I wanted to share where my head’s at. Stay tuned for where this journey takes me – it might just be a whole new way of rolling through life!
