35 Creative Crescendo, Pausing the Mic and Painting the Future

Podcast Summary:
Welcome to Episode 35 of the Chronically Empowered Mom Podcast, titled ‘Creative Crescendo – Pausing the Mic and Painting the Future.’ I’m your host, Vickie Siculiano, a motivational coach, certified personal trainer, former jazz vocalist, and a multiple-time Amazon published author. My mission is to empower you to be your best self, regardless of the stage of life you’re in or any chronic illness you may be facing, like my own journey with MS.
In this episode, which marks a significant moment as the final one before I take a hiatus, I delve into the reasons behind this pause. It’s an opportunity for me to explore the myriad of possibilities that lie ahead, particularly in the realm of creativity and art. Producing this podcast has been a labor of love, involving extensive planning, editing, and content creation – much like the behind-the-scenes work of my days as a jazz vocalist.
Reflecting on the evolution of this podcast, I recall my previous experiences in online marketing and my business, Smarter Online Marketing. Though I’m no longer running a business and am focusing on my health and family, I continue to share my insights and stories, transitioning from physical motivational speaking to engaging through online platforms like this podcast.
This year has been about realizing my vision board goals for 2024. I’ve embraced being a motivational coach and author, creating a gratitude journal and exploring new avenues with AI tools like Midjourney and DALL-E. These tools have been instrumental in my creative process, helping me to design coloring books and other projects, including a planner for 2024.
I’ve learned much over the past episodes, from managing my health to harnessing creativity for therapeutic purposes. My journey into creating coloring books, especially tailored for those with dexterity challenges, has been incredibly fulfilling. I’m excited about the potential of these projects, both personally and professionally.
As I sign off this episode, I want to express my heartfelt thanks to all of you who have supported and listened to the podcast. Special thanks to my family and contributors, including my cousins Elaine and Paul, who have enriched this journey. While this podcast takes a brief pause, I encourage you to revisit past episodes, engage with the content, and stay connected with me through the website and email. Your feedback is always welcome and appreciated.
Remember, never stop living and exploring your creative potential. Until we meet again, take care and thanks for tuning in.

Welcome to Episode 35 of the Chronically Empowered Mom Podcast: “Creative Crescendo – Pausing the Mic and Painting the Future.”
Hi, and thank you for joining me, Vickie Siculiano, on another episode of the Chronically Empowered Mom podcast, your source for energy and inspiration. As a motivational coach, certified personal trainer, former jazz vocalist, and a multiple-time Amazon published author, my mission is to empower you to be the best version of yourself, no matter what stage of life or if you have a chronic illness like me.
In this final episode before I go on a hiatus, I’m excited to share the opportunities that lie ahead, especially in the area of creativity and being an artist. Producing this podcast, from editing and recording to making sure episodes are up on my blog, takes a lot of effort. It’s much like when I used to be a jazz vocalist – what the audience sees is just the tip of the iceberg.
Reflecting on the evolution of this podcast, I think back to nine years ago when I had a business in online marketing, Smarter Online Marketing, and how much I loved it. Now, I’m focusing more on being at home, taking care of my family, myself, and my health. I have MS, a chronic illness, and recently had my twice-a-year infusion of Ocrevus to slow its progression.
Despite not working in the traditional sense, I’m still very active online, especially on Amazon where I keep publishing new books. I’m taking a break to see what else is possible. I’ve learned a lot over the year, including the importance of having a vision board. I started this year with a goal to become a motivational speaker and coach, and I even hosted a workshop on manifestation.
Becoming an author again, particularly on Amazon, has been a thrilling journey. I’ve written a gratitude journal, which has become a significant part of my daily practice. This led me to explore artificial intelligence tools like ChatGPT, Midjourney, and DALL-E for creating coloring books and other projects.
One of the surprising outcomes was how therapeutic coloring became for me, especially for my hand which is affected by MS. It’s helped me in unexpected ways, like improving my grip strength, which is useful at the gym. This discovery inspired me to create coloring books, particularly for people with dexterity issues. It’s been an amazing journey of creation and self-discovery.
As I prepare to take this hiatus, I want to thank everyone who has supported and listened to the podcast. I’m excited about the potential impact of these creative projects on both my personal and professional life. Although I’m stepping aside from the podcast for now, I invite you to stay connected. You can post comments on my website, email me, or leave a review on platforms like iTunes or Audible.
I also want to give a special shoutout to my cousins, Elaine and Paul, and my son Sean, who have been a big part of this journey. Please revisit my episodes, engage with the content, and keep in touch.
Thank you for your support and patience. I’m signing off with a promise of a potential return and continued growth. I wish you all much luck and success in the coming year and always encourage you to embrace your creative adventures. Never stop living, folks. Take care and thanks for tuning in to the Chronically Empowered Mom podcast. See you next time!
